This is a networking group for book authors in Brittany, Normandy and the Pays de la Loire.

Grand Ouest Authors is for:

• Authors who have books in print via mainstream publishers.
• Self-published authors.
• Writers who have book projects in progress and hope to publish in the near future.

What we have in mind is something along the lines of:

• Taking stands at regional events for group book signings.
• Joint marketing/promotional activities (such as approaching bookshops, presses, supermarkets etc).
• An online support forum.
• Joint online marketing through a website, with links to authors' own sites.

We hope that the group will also help encourage new writers, and provide a framework for networking between individual writers and writers groups.
